Drop-Off Center
Recycling Drop-Off Sites
WHAT
Drop-off Recycling Sites accept our two day-to-day recycling “streams”:
- “Paper, Boxes and Bags” and
- “Containers” (bottles, jugs, jars, foil, tubs, cups, cans, cartons).
They also have bins for cardboard, including big boxes. The best option for HUGE boxes is to take them to the Pleasantview Road Drop-off Center.
WHERE
Emmet County households and businesses can drop off day-to-day recyclables at any of the 13 Recycling Sites shown on the map below.
In addition, CURBSIDE RECYCLING SERVICE for Paper, Boxes and Bags and Containers is offered by Alanson, Harbor Springs, and Petoskey, Little Traverse Township, Bear Creek Township, and Resort Township. We operate these services and can answer your questions about them; the communities pay to provide curbside collection. If you have the service, thank your community leaders!
